A mix of community facilities and new homes. Five separate buildings will house a Nursery School, Children's Centre, Enterprise Hub, new Community Centre and new residential accommodation.

The site's energy strategy includes a low-energy retrofit of the existing Victorian School, and new high-efficiency buildings all connected to Brent's new district heating system.

This project is Phase 2 of Brent Council's long-term plan to deliver sustainable community facilities for plus training and employment opportunities for local people of South Kilburn.

Five buildings will provide a permanent Enterprise Hub, offices for South Kilburn Trust, and accommodation for groups and services currently based on the site: the Nursery School, the Barnardo’s operated Children’s Centre, Granville Community Kitchen and the Otherwise Club.

Eighteen new family homes are all for Social Rent.

Won through design competition in 2017 by an Adam Khan Architects-led team, including Ritchie+Daffin, the project is expected to begin construction in 2020.

The new community events space has been designed with a passive-stack-driven natural ventilation system that harnesses the natural heating & cooling properties of a semi-basement thermal labyrinth.
